In Uganda you are better off stealing billions rather than "mere" millions.

Those stealing millions and goats are stupid because they are easily arrested while those who have stolen billions and reduce the country to limp in poverty are the "untouchable" happily enjoying free life, sleeping comfortably in "palaces" funded by their loots.

33million is too too small for an accounting officer of ministry of education and sports.

There must be an agenda behind it. Dr, in case you are innocent, draw God near you. Those who are the actual thieves will be paid for your suffering.

But why is it always those who steal in the millions bracket are the only ones being "arrested" and paraded before the courts and media.

However there is a deafening silence on those mega thieves who steal in billions like the Bagyenda, extra currency saga etc.

Are we not being taken into a comedy show in the name of fighting corruption? There are known individuals who have swindled huge sums of public monies but everyone from the president Museveni to the IGG are silent on these untouchables and this leads me to believe that the president Museveni is corrupt too otherwise why the inaction?

Comrade rubangakene, I beg to differ. Global Fund scandal had the following involved: Katugugu Muhwezi (Jim), Kamugisha (Dr. Alex), Kaboyo (Alice-Janet Kataha's niece), Muhebwa (Tiberius-PMU head and Muhwezi's cousin).

These were let off the hook including Mukula who was "lucky" to be in the group. Ssezi Cheeye (RIP) and Fredie Kavuma of UBC were convicted (10 and 5 years respectively)!!!

This Judicial Services scandal involves Nassali Lukwago, Opio Okiror and Kawooya. They are dead meat.
If you know, you know!!

Elder Omollo, we know Ugandans frustrated with these silver fishes being brought out yet the whales are basking in the ill gotten wealth.

However 33 million from 60 districts, 12 ministries, 24 agencies, 16 departments, 10 parastatals add up to 4 Billion.

That is if indeed the judiciary has the clout to prosecute all those!!

Freed !!! That is most unlikely because the thief's "feathers" matter a lot in this regime.
