Haiti's PM steps down over fuel prices, violence

Haiti's prime minister resigned Saturday after days of protest over the government's plan to raise fuel prices.

Jack Guy Lafontant announced to the lower house of Haiti's legislature: "I submitted my resignation to the president of the republic," and he confirmed that the president had accepted his resignation.

Haiti PM Jack Guy Lafontant tendered in his resignation on Saturday

Haiti has been in turmoil since last week, when the government announced plans for major increases in the prices of gasoline, diesel and kerosene.

The announcement led to riots that resulted in at least four deaths. The government ended up calling off the price increases, but the political upheaval resulted in a no-confidence vote Saturday in the lower house of parliament.

"Haiti's prime minister resigned Saturday after days of protest over the government's plan to raise fuel prices."

Could this happen in Uganda? we need to draw the line. The Haiti people said no to the raise of of fuel prices and the PM inevitably resigned.

Ever since M7 has been in power, 32 years, prices of everything has been rising. M7 is taxing the hell out of us and continue to use the country's resources to cling on power, including rigging each and every presidential elections!

What do we do? We say " Awangale ayi Sabalwanyi M7!"

That is why I'll continue to point out those who support M7 in any way shape or form.

Last Saturday I saw Nabagereka rubbing shoulders with those who are robbing our country naked, on Muhwezi's son wedding!

That is where the problem is, Mengo is so eager and always happy to show its royalty to M7's govt, why?

Selfishness., pure and simple. Until Mengo ceases to support M7, we have no prayer. You can take that to the bank.

Uganda was sold, or was it acquired st war. It belongs to the Chwezi dynasty who have full right to milk as much as possible while it is still possible

The military investment is sufficient to maintain status quo.

There are also sufficient numbers of sycophants and loyal cadres everywhere to drum up any propaganda

Uganda is not Haiti.

Unlike Haitians who face off their government and the Prime Minister resigns, Ugandans are chicken and sitting ducks.

In other words, if Ugandans tried what the Haitians do, they will be massacred and crushed, by Mr. M7 & Co who enjoy the smell dead Ugandan bodies.

In other words Remase, since Luweero, these lot enjoy the company of people smelling dead bodies of Ugandans, who are dying left, right and center, because of the multiple causes of the regime in State House.

Eish!
