Last week, Annet Nandujja had a most unusual week of ill-luck.
The dancer-cum-singer lost her car a Toyota Ipsum [UAQ 423Y] outside the New Vision offices. And on Wedeneday, she was stopped by police as she tried to clean Nakasero market.
“Next time, you notify us and give us T-shirts and we work together; therefore, can you immediately leave this place now,” said a policeman to Nandujja, who then moved to William street.
Ill-luck notwithstanding, Nandujja is optimistic and will have the last laugh tonight when she launches her sixth album, Akalagaane Kukuuma Butonde at Theatre La Bonita.
The album, sponsored by National Water and Sewerage Corporation, is about keeping our environment clean and conducive to nature. At her launch, she will be accompanied by Fred Ssebatta, Catherine Kusasira, Mariam Ndagire and Messach Ssemakula.
Bobi Wine, Mathias Walukagga, Haruna Mubiru and Halima Namakula will also perform. The fee is Shs 20,000 and Shs 50,000 for VIP. The show starts at 7pm and will move to Luwero on Saturday and Dance Flo in Nateete on Sunday at Shs 5,000.
