A Ka Dope is a platform for emerging musicians to showcase their craft, and it aims at elevating Ugandan talent.
Due to the effects of Covid-19, gigs including music shows and concerts, among others, were banned as the country rushed to control the spread.
To keep their fans happy, A Ka Dope has taken its talent search online. Organisers announced last week via their social media pages.
Interested parties are required to record and upload 40-second videos of themselves singing or rapping on their social media pages, for an ‘audition’ period of three weeks, during which the videos will hopefully go viral.
Successful artistes stand a chance to win the ultimate prize: a recording deal with 101 Music.
