Pina Colada courts Ugandans

A new shift in the beverage sector is on the horizon in Kampala. Pina Colada may not be a new word to many, but few have tasted the popular drink.

Well, it is simply a cocktail blend of coconut cream and pineapple juice shaken with ice. It has been around since the 1960s and this weekend it will make a grand entrance onto the Ugandan market with a series of activations around Kampala.

The three-day festival will roll off on April 18 up to April 20 at different hangouts such as Gabz Lounge, The Alchemist, Sky Lounge and Monot, among others. On top of discounted cocktail menus, revellers will enjoy fun games in which they stand to win various goodies.

All one needs to be part of the experience is to simply buy a Uganda Waragi party pack at various places such as Shoprite Lugogo, Quality and Capital Shoppers supermarket chains.
