Early Man brings laughter for animation fans

In this Iron Age animation comedy, a cave man, Doug, faces off with an English lord who seeks to capture his lands.

Lord Nooth, who seeks to open up a mine in Doug’s land, having primitive weapons to protect them against Nooth’s iron weapons, Doug has to rally his clan to stage a stand against the planned capture of their land which has to be won in a game of football.

Employing wit and comic relief, Doug faces an impossible task of training his clan in football, a game they have no clue about. Early Man comes out to envision how the prehistoric times would have been offering a great viewing experience.

Early Man voice cast lines up Tom Hiddleston (Thor, Avengers, High-Rise), Eddie Redmayne (The Theory of Everything, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), Maisie Williams (Game of Thrones) and Timothy Spall (The King’s Speech, Upside Down).

Directed by Nick Park, a pioneer of clay modeled animations: Chicken Run and Wallace and Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit, Early Man opens this Friday at Century Cinemax.
