Movie review: Liam Neeson is a wanted man in The Commuter

This action film introduces us to Michael McCauley (Liam Neeson) an insurance salesman who on his daily train journey home is approached by a stranger that enlists him to help reveal the identity of an assassin on the train about to kill a witness.

Unwillingly thrown into the mission, McCauley finds himself the major suspect in a train hijack that will likely end with the deaths of the passengers.

With no one to confide in, McCauley fights to win the trust of his fellow passengers amidst their discovery of a lethal criminal conspiracy that puts lives at risk.

Even at 65 years, Liam Neeson shows no sign of retiring from acting, performing age-defying stunts in the film. The movie stars Liam Neeson (Schindler’s List, Batman Begins, Taken and Run All Night), Sam Neil (Jurassic Park, Jurassic Park 3) and Patrick Wilson (The Conjuring).

This film marks the fourth collaboration between Liam Neeson and film director Jaume Collet-Serra. The Commuter opens this Friday at Century Cinemax, Acacia mall.
