The Chancellor of Kyambogo University, Prof John Ssebuwufu has pledged to help resolve the infighting at the institution.
Reflecting on his new role, during the last graduation ceremony, on February 26 at Kyambogo, Ssebuwufu said the institution was struggling with administrative and financial challenges. He pledged to help find solutions to the problems and help restore the image of the second largest public university in the country.
The 67-year-old Ssebuwufu was installed in office to serve for a four-year term, replacing Dr Eric Tiyo Se kebuga Adriko. Before this he was vice chancellor at Makerere University, and until recently also vice chancellor at Kisubi Brothers University.
