Madame Web now in cinema

Madame Web is a superhero film based on the Marvel comic character of the same name.

In the comics, Madame Web is a blind clairvoyant and precognitive mutant. In the film, Cassandra is a paramedic living a fairly ordinary life when a near-death experience unlocks her ability to see the future.

She sets out to rescue three young women from a villain who wants to kill them to prevent a future in which they murder him. Madame Web earned a 13-percent critic rating and a 54-percent audience score on Rotten Tomatoes. Early reviews have criticized the film for being outrightly boring.

Apparently, even though Madame Web is a comic book film, it has ten or so minutes of noteworthy action. Audiences have also attacked the terrible dialogue and questionable acting.  Then again, the film’s writers are responsible for Morbius, and Gods of Egypt. So, we should not be surprised.

You can draw your own conclusions after watching Madame Web in cinemas today.
