The French born coach said after a 10-man Cranes team (Timothy Dennis Awanyi sent off) lost 1-0 to Namibia last night in a Group B match in Marrakech, Morocco that he is going to make changes on the team.
After falling 3-1 to Zambia in the opening match and falling to lowly ranked Namibia last night, Desbare's team is out of the tournament before they face Cote dÍvoire in the last group game. Zambia who also beat Cote dÍvoire 2-0 on Thursday together with Namibia have already qualified for the knock out stage.
"I have evaluated my players. I want to win every match as a coach. We have not qualified from group stages for 4 editions now. There must be a problem. My job is to find a solution," said the coach after the match.
Desbare made it clear that he will monitor the league championship to find players for the national team.
Desabre who has handled top sides in Cote dívoire, Morocco, Cameroon and Egypt has still failed to guide The Cranes to a win from four matches played so far.
Already hosts Morocco, Sudan, Zambia and Namibia have qualified for the quarter finals. However the Confederation of African Football (CAF) could rule against Sudan since a complain was lodged that they used a player who was not eligible in their opening 2-1 win against Guinea.
