LIFE IN THE MIRACLE WORLD: You don't need to slaughter your cows Print E-mail

When I bought my first car years ago, I got advice from left, right and centre to slaughter chickens, goats so my ancestors would save me from losing my car and/or my life in a car crash.

By then, I was only a few months old in salvation and having grown up hearing about these superstitions, I was tempted. But the friend who won my soul for Christ in the first place acted swiftly the moment she saw the new car. She got my hand and together we sat in the car and prayed, loosing the blood of Jesus on every component of that car. No chickens were slaughtered.

I drove that car for five years then sold it, but save for the inevitable bump and scratch from any learner on the road, I drove it without incident. The same goes for the subsequent ride. Yet so many people who actually believe there is a living God above all things, cannot commission cars, businesses, houses, etc without slaughtering an animal, bird or lately, even a human being!

In the Old Testament, true, the only atonement and sacrifice known was the blood of animals. But because the blood sacrifices did not really change man’s sinful nature at the end of the day, God gave us His only begotten son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16).

Through the blood of Jesus Christ, all other sacrifices were nullified and rendered powerless. Also, because for almost every good thing God ever created, the devil has come up with a counterfeit to dupe us, blood sacrifices became (still are) a big tool of demonic empowerment in the kingdom of darkness.

But the one thing the devil has failed to ‘photocopy’ is the blood of Jesus Christ, the son of the living God. That, and the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. There is immense power in those two ‘weapons’.

For your new car, your new house, protection in your home, dedication of a plot of land, all you need is the blood of Jesus Christ. Forget the falsehoods. Many Christians are confused by these things. They take a step to understand God deeper, but find it hard to believe what they don’t see with the physical eye. But if you had spiritual eyes, you would actually see the blood of Jesus as you invoke it!

Just plead the blood of Jesus on all your property – and it is free!
If you lack the faith to simply do that, then you can seek the services of someone more spiritual – your pastor, a leader in your church, etc. It will save you money and from unintended covenants with the devil’s kingdom.

Plead The Blood
written by Bill Dotson , November 25, 2009

I came upon your post from a Google Alert I set up on the phrase "plead the blood". I do this every day for my family and believe God showed me something about this which I wrote about in my blog in 2006. You might be interested in reading it at: http://roadrevelations.org/?p=50. Be blessed!

A coupla months back, got myself a bike, and my girlfriend whose a level higher in matters of the faith, got me to pray, and dedicated it to GOD.

IN this Kampala of today, with all these funny drivers, i am never scared, somehow i feel protected, and untill recently from my own mistakes, it had no scratch whatsoever.
