Situated on a three-acre piece of land in Kasese town, management of Shumuk says it has already injected over Shs 2bn in the hotel. The hotel has been rebranded to suit a good destination for tourists and travellers among others, notes the statement.

The hotel is expected to be upgraded to a three-star status, and is “expected to offer the best services in the region.”

Kasese district, where the hotel is located, is one of the splendid destinations for tourists due to the several tourist attractions - the Equator, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Mountain Rwenzori climbing and the magnificent Kazinga channel, among others.
