Toyota Uganda Ltd has established a new corporate headquarter and branch in Namanve industrial area, a move orchestrated to position the company for sustainable long-term growth.
John Byabagambi, the minister for Karamoja Affairs, opened the new headquarters last Tuesday at the event also attended by area MP Betty Nambooze as well as Mukono mayor George Kagimu. Operations at the new ultra-modern facility commenced in January this year.
However, Mahmood Omar, the Toyota Uganda managing director, said operations at the Kampala Toyota branch on First street, Industrial area will continue.
“By expanding our branch and operations to Namanve, we will be better equipped to speed decision-making, share best practices, and leverage the combined strength of our employees. This, in turn, will strengthen our ability to put customers first and to continue providing great products that exceed their expectations,” he said.
The facility is seated on five acres with a built- in area of 5,900 square meters comprising of a vehicle showroom, extensive parts warehouse, increased service bays, body and paint workshop, parts warehouse and a bonded stock yard.
